It's happening again
The competition is now closed. The votes are being counted and mystery judging by The Chip Group™ is now taking place. Regional Finalists will be announced on the 29th of August. Winners will be announced 31st October.
The Chip Group™ is committed to delivering quality chips to the public of New Zealand. The 2011 Best Chip Shop Competition will acknowledge that you care about your customers' health and have trained in best practice frying.
For Shops
Mystery judging can take place on any transaction, at any time during the period August 1st 2011 to August 28th 2011, and will be undertaken by officers or appointees of The Chip Group™.
Mystery judging criteria will include: display of The Chip Group™ Certificate, chip taste, chip quality, chip fat content (by laboratory analysis), adherence to Industry Standards (Tips for Better Chips), shop cleanliness and consumer service.
For Consumers
Consumers; thanks for all your txt votes, the winning voter will be drawn on the 29th August 2011. The winner of the Choice Mobile 2degrees phone deal will be notified by txt in August and must reply within two weeks of that notification
being sent or there will be a redraw. If the prize is still unclaimed at the end of the two week period, then the process will be repeated at 2 weekly intervals until a winner is identified.
